We spent the last several years completely remodeling our home one small section at a time. We were finally ready to have someone come in and help us finish the last phase of the remodel which included 2 bathrooms, a fireplace, and several other small tasks that still needed to be done around the house. We met with various contractors and ultimately decided to move forward with Harper Stone and Tile. The pictures speak for themselves (see the before photo at the end). They did a stellar job transforming our bathrooms. Taking a shower or a bath feels like we’re in a spa. They also did a wonderful job updating our fireplace and adding in extra cabinets. Throughout the remodel, we continued to add to the list of things that needed to be done and Derren and his team were able to accommodate all of our on-going requests. His team showed up on time, was respectful of our house, and completed the project in a reasonable amount of time.

Definitely not the cheapest but the quality and workmanship was well worth the cost! I had 2 bath rooms remodeled and I am VERY happy with the finished product!

Derren completed a whole house remodel for us. He treated the project as if it were his own property and advised us on cost savings he felt were worthwhile. After the project was completed he came back and swapped out some cabinet doors that didn’t meet his standards and warrantied them at no charge. Would highly recommend him!

Everything lines up beautifully and looks phenomenal. Please notice the detail in the pattern, all grout lines are lined up flawlessly. The experience was outstanding. Derren and his team took great care to work in a very clean manner and even provided a paper cover to and from the bathroom so nothing dirty ever came in contact with our floors. Derren is amazing!! He’s honest and hard working. Simply put, he’s the best. I will be using him for any project I possibly can!! His stone work is impeccable. I am a perfectionist and he is so detail oriented that he met every one of my expectations.

Darren is great to work with! Not only is he professional but he is honest. We are remodeling and it’s always very hard to find good contractors. I’d recommend him to anyone! His work is clean and precise and was completed exactly when he said it would be. He went above and beyond for us! We are very picky about small details and he took the extra time to make sure everything was beyond perfect. We will be using him for other jobs whenever possible! Wish he could do the whole remodel for us.

We found Derren on yelp and we are extremely pleased with his work. Our kitchen was pretty beaten up and in desperate need of repair and a new backsplash. Derren spent at least an hour at our home on a Saturday evening to give us a quote (free of charge) and educate us on everything we needed to know about his work, and specifically the tile and design we had chosen for our backsplash. After getting some quotes from others, we chose to go with Derren because of his honesty, confidence, and knowledge of the material. Within a week after the quote he was able to begin work on our kitchen. Not only did he lay a BEAUTIFUL backsplash but he also spent a good day repairing the damage we had done when we removed our previous backsplash. The three days he worked for us he was kind, courteous, (especially towards our jerk of a dog who just wanted to attack him), and efficient with his work. Once the project was complete everything was cleaned up and put back exactly where it was. We are so happy with his work we are having him come back to do more tile work around our fireplace.

I have done my homework checking out tile installers. Darren was very straight forward, honest and reliable. He did not ask for payment upfront. I was looking to install about 900 SF. of tile. Darren came over, gave me an estimate and we scheduled for about a month out so i could remove the old carpet and tile. He arrived as scheduled. We set aside 5 days to get it completed, it was done in 4. The whole time he was professional, took great care in setup, even worked around a few pieces of furniture we had no place to move. To address the few reviews that commented on no answer or delayed call back, Darren is working to complete the job, on his knee’s doing layout, placement, cutting and grouting. Cut him a break, I did. I expected immediate response, when I did not receive it, I was impatient. I spoke to him about it, he was very concerned and we moved forward. His priority is getting your job done. After seeing him work, and the finished product, I’m very happy he did the job. We will be calling to do kitchen back splash, and bathrooms. Thanks again.

We have had Harper Stone and Tile remodel most of our house at this point. Derren and his crew have done an amazing job on the complete flooring replacement and a bathroom remodel. They are very detail oriented and do quality work with quality materials. We threw him several curve balls while the job was going on and he handled them with ease.
